Why You Need A Brand, Not Just A Logo

Potential Clients will contact me looking for just a logo, my response is I don’t create just a logo. Confusing? Not really, I am a Brand Designer. I design entire brands so that my clients have all the tools they need at their fingertips to consistently market themselves.

I believe it is essential to have these three things when creating a brand.

2.

Second is choices. It is imperative that you have a variety of logos to work with that allow you to create anything from a hang tag to a billboard. Setting them up in horizontal and vertical format makes life easier.

1.

First is originality. Your brand should be 100% who you are. People react to brands they can trust with relatable owners behind them.

3.

Third is usable files. This might be the most important of all. Have you ever wanted to float a logo on an image but the digital file you have access to has an annoying white border around it? It’s a nightmare. You can’t overlay the logo on a photograph, nor can you use it in an ad that has a colored background because it just looks bad. I assure you that you will have every format you could ever want.

This is the exact reason I create entire brands. I want you to be able to tell your story repeatedly with total ease. Having a folder full of useable files makes life easy. When daily tasks are easy, they are quicker to implement, and my clients have one less thing to do. All small business owners understand the value of that and I hope you will too.

How Does It Work"?

DAY ONE - ONE HOUR MEETING (in person or via video or phone)

In this hour we talk about your business, who you are and what services you will offer clients. We do a deep dive into words and even do a worksheet to get the juices flowing.

THIRD DAY (in person or via video or phone)

We meet again.

This time we go over our joint word list and talk a little more. We discuss our ideas and make a decision. Once we feel good about a name, we research it to make sure no one has the same idea.

That is it. Quick and painless. Once we are done you will have a brand name you feel good about that truly reflects your story.
