Tools I Love
GOODS TO WORK WITH
Sakura Pigma Micron Pens. I am a big fan of ink pens and have the bad habit of not using a pencil first and just drawing with ink. Either way, #08 is my favorite. The line is thick enough so that if you take it into the iPad or the computer, it is easier to see to work with. Any art store should have these.
A4 Ultra-Thin Portable LED tracing Light Box Dimmable Brightness LED Art Tracing Pad for Artist Drawing Sketching Animation Stenciling and 5d Diamond Painting (Black, A4). I got this one on Amazon and it works great. Very light to carry so it’s easy to throw in a bag to take with you. I know this is the old school way of using tracing paper on some work, but I still love it.
Strathmore® 400 Series Sketch Paper Pad is my go to. I think I may have a stack of 20ish already filled lol. Michaels is a great place to get these because sometimes they do a BOGO sale. I always buy two, because you never know.
iPad Pro. I love this thing and I have the bigger one but any tablet that will run Procreate will work just fine.
The iPad pencil will also be your best friend. Make sure you get extra tips.
Lastly, a paper feel screen protector is worth its weight in gold and will help you when you draw.
